Yeah! Just sold my boat half an hour ago! 2000 Euros - the price I was asking, which, after much consideration, I think was fair. 6 life jackets went with it, battery 7 years old but still good, oars, trailer, 20hp Evinrude outboard, lamp, trailer lock, engine lock, spare propellor, 6 fuel tanks (to hold 88 litres altogether - with 30 litres of petrol in them), a new 'black box' (some sort of electronic components something to do with the high tension / spark / timing), a new can of International paint (white), new spark plugs, and some other miscellaneous items. Boat in clean condition. Trailer wheel bearings checked 5 weeks ago and are fine (renewed 5 years ago). It's off to live beside a cottage on Oulunjärvi ('Lake Oulu') in northern Finland. Because we bought a narrowboat all of our holidays have to be directed towards that, so there was no longer the opportunity to carry on exploring the lakes and sea coast of Finland, we have only been able to use it at weekends. And now the sea is frozen anyway, here, until May. And the boat and engine was just getting older sitting in it's own little boathouse in our yard, better than someone will actually make use of it and give it a new life. We have used it a lot extensively along the southern coast of Finland, western coast a bit, many lakes - and what a fantastic way to go camping, find a remote island and pitch the tent and make a fire, do some grilling and watch the sun go down whilst sipping some wine. Here's a few pics you may have seen before, off to and at our 'local playground' the Rahja archipelago (taken in September): goo.gl/photos/3eKnKz4UPVL3DfQJA

Loads and loads of boating here - you could go on forever - but it's all frozen at the moment!

I really like the Fiskaris. Not quite the same but this is my electric launch - similar shape but as it is plastic its not quite so nice. A lot less maintenance though ! (Its me and my family in it) (Previous post I tried to edit as I found a better picture but it came up as a new post so I deleted the original one)
