Well, the last seven days have been a trial, one of those weeks when if it can go wrong it will. Last Tuesday I dropped m phone and broke the screen, then Saturday I was doing some electrical fault finding on our Mercedes and had my iPad handy to access the owners forum when I managed to catch the edge of the screen with the catch on my bag.....Fuck it, another screen broken! I then get home having not fixed the car to find the hurricane boiler had flamed out. Phone not worth screen replacement so will replace it (I only buy second hand), the iPad's going to be £75 for a new screen (Timpsons) and Calcutt boats are coming out Wednesday to fix (service) the boiler. I could do the boiler but have so much on my plate at the moment that I'd rather pay someone! On the plus side, I did get my new battery interconnects and inverter cables all made up properly with my cheap hydraulic crimping tool. I, like many others, suffer from a lack of daylight this time of year which does shorten my temper somewhat and make crap like this less bearable than it would otherwise be.
Right...whinge over, roll on Spring 🙂

Tomoorow's a new day. Let it go as there's nothing you can do about any of it now. And by the sounds of it, tomorrow can't be worse Rog

Why not buy protective cases for your iPad and phone. It will stop it happening again.

Ah before spring I have a ton of leaves to clear and knotweed to burn.. don't u find that there are times when everything goes wrong..then a little bit of good just to balance out. Ive got a cover on my screen which has cracks all over..guess its saved the screen but i need new cover. Im not affected particularly by lack daylight but its a real downer for some
cheer up..good to rant occasionally..

If it's any consolation, I cracked the screen on my works sony experia a month or so ago and have "learned" to look around the 3 inch jagged wobbly bit... sometimes a little frustrating but its usually just a case of expanding the size and moving what I need to read into " a good bit" :-)
In contrast, my own (personal) fisher-price "my first phone" nokia, is still working marvellously after many, many years of being thrown around... who needs technology?

These screens are all made in China and are designed to crack easily.
