I have a stone solid wall house that needed insulating to prevent condensation etc. I've successfully used a highly insulation wallpaper, 4mm thick (almost). Wallrock KV 600 thermal liner. Would be good for lining a yogurt pot, or retrofitting on a problem area in a sewer tube.

It appears to be a great product and I note that it will still allow your walls to breathe. I suspect that 4mm insulation wouldn't do much for a boat though.

For yogurt pots with very curvy sections the multifoil quilt type stuff may be well suited, seems popular for loft conversions.
For best effect it needs some battening so there's an airgap on both sides but that shouldn't be too hard.
