I've already cut the hole, put the hob in place and fitted the oven... and drilled out the holes in the gas locker to 19mm rather than the 2x 10mm the boat builder put in... for 350 quid labour for a mornings work I would expect a) sex and b) at least 1 cigarette to follow aforementioned So, in other words, you want a shag with a fag and a fag with the shag? (Bloody foreign languages!)

Do it yourself. I did a full install on my rebuild, hob, oven and water heater, isolation valve on each, isolation valve as pipe enters boat, bubble tester too. I used a manometer, found a slight slow drop in pressure, went over all the compression joins and found one that needed nipping up, the one hardest to reach, as you would expect. I fitted an lpg alarm too, for reassurance.

If the main reason to DIY is to save money, then it may well be best to get a suitably registered gas bod in, maybe shop around for a better price.
Otherwise it may require quite a fair bit of time and effort to do it to the same standard a suitably registered gas bod should do it to.
The dusty archives of CWDF should turn up some decent topics, it doesn't seem to get discussed much nowadays.
