She's going to get dumped! "When we eventually move into a house". She had a house, he didn't move into it, she moved into his boat. There's a clue there. Lol.

Nice well written article hope more read it and realise this is a lifestyle choice and not a cheap way to live at the end of the day Peter I think london is like a filter. The ones who love it stay, those that can't hack it will leave either way it encourages new boaters "the next generation." So should be encouraged by Crt not criminalized.

So should be encouraged by Crt not criminalized. sorry I disagree Kris, the pressure by CRT to comply with the restrictions on CCing are part of the filter. Many of the first timers don't do any research and haven't got a clue about what they should or should not be doing and think that it's an easy life. The problem with CRT enforcing the "rules" is that the checking system is so dire. If that was improved so that genuine CCers weren't being hassled and only those guilty of abusing the system were caught up in enforcement 90% of the problems that ordinary boaters have with CRT would disappear. (it would also save CRT a hell of a lot of wasted time and money and genuine CCers a lot of grief)

I think it clearly shows why thousands won't flock to do the same, and stay doing it.

Should be a lot easier with a permanent mooring and an umbilical and a postal address and a broadband connection.
