What makes it 'a mooring' if nothing is moored.

What makes it 'a mooring' if nothing is moored. I don't understand. Rog Exactly, be great if you pay the £550 then drag the boat up and leave for a certain ampunt of time, say limited to a month or so. Not to moor a bout then it is no use as amooring.

Perhaps it's a reduced charge for bagging a mooring, say in advance of retiring?

Its so you can keep the mooring even if you are not using it. bloody cheek of it. So if you have the mooring empty all season then put a boat on for the last few week or so of the season you get charged full wack ( remainder of the mooring ona full season) for the mooring. I have the number now for the warden so i am going to give him a call about it and other moorings.
