All the social networking sites related to boating are monitored by enforcement. Debby figgy checks them every morning, and forwards anything on to the relevant department. The most popular are cwdf, narrowboat user group and canals and rivers on facebook. She must find some pearls of wisdom there

Some of them will be the same lackys that Parry has monitoring CWDF and other waterway/canal related forums, the IWA will account for a few more, and there'll almost certainly be people from useless outfits like the RBOA, searching in vain for someone with a good word to say about them. I had no idea Tony that this surveillance was so organised Posting on Forums like CWDF and this one is, in some ways, a better way to communicate with Parry and the Enforcement/Legal 'Brains Trust' than via e-mail, . . . you can play all sorts of unsettling mind games with them. I know for a fact, from my contacts within C&RT, that being held up to [well deserved] public ridicule really gets to Parry, Yelland, Griffin and co., always provided, of course, that it's kept simple enough for them to understand.

Jenlyn and yourself have alluded to an "attitude change"within CRT,perhaps attitude change is too strong a phrase, perhaps its more a case of sensory perception ? I wonder if that is real or illusory ?

I reckon I could fill that roll, I have ham, cheese and tuna in the fridge, and some tomatoes in the cupboard.

That's fascinating .............. why don't you keep your tomatoes in the fridge as well ? Tomatoes are best stored at ambient temperature, which is why they are never refrigerated when you buy them at Tesco/Sainsbury's, Aldi etc.

Judgemental posters over there, indeed. This one, for instance, today, talking about a dead man's boat: "I would think it may be unusual for someone with a valuable boat to have no next of kin. I know this is a bit of a dodgy comment in a way." Why? Yeah your right what you say, they are a spineless supine bunch when they are confronted like they were earlier tonight. One of them especially, should know what it feels like to be in a minority but sadly he is one of the worst,a smug,I own a Hudson,Let me pronounce my boats name to the ignorant,Knobber Ah changed times from when you politely invited me to join this dung heap. Anyway since you are thick as mince, clearly one needs one's shiny boat name to be spelt out phonetically. It's not my fault if I own a fantastic and superior Hudson and you just have some inferior old tub, you should have listened at school and got a proper job. I don't even recall contributing to the thread you mention so your meds must be causing you to hallucinate.

Don't worry about CDS, it's almost a full time job asking him not to insult people. He's offended just about everyone here at one time or another. There was some improvement of late, 'SOME' being the operative word.
