The piezo on my hob has packed in so I was looking for a tool for the job and came across a welder's "pistol flint" on fleabay. I really like it. Much better than using an old Clipper lighter. I know the flint will wear down but it looks like it might be replaceable and the item was only £2.20 anyway. Its like a mini gun. Brilliant. URL: pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=322366891589

They're ideal for the cooker.

I can now remember our welder at work, many years ago using one, brilliant. Clicked on the link only to find it sold out, huh, will have to go looking myself. Phil
