There are a few complaints and some very voluble. In the main i seems to boil down to people who did not read the terms and condition and expected attention to domestic equipment like a water pump or a domestic alternator that do not stop the boat running. There are a lesser number who allege they received bad service but I suspect that the number is only a very small percentage of membership.
I also get the impression that some of their contractors are a bit lax in the customer service department.
When I was making a long, summer voyage "up north" I was happy to pay for retained membership knowing I would e along way from home and places I knew.

Don't forget, you are more likely to hear about bad service. You will hardly ever hear about the good ones.
