^^^^^^^^exactly my point its a set up rebels kill their own and blame the government, I mean ISIS have shown nothing but contempt for the populace and human life so what a few more dead innocents to them? I would agree with you more fully but for the fact that Assad's regime has shown just as much contempt for civilian lives Completely agree with you John but at the moment they are winning so why do it? I think its ISIS lead and because no one could wait to evaluate satellite images they just pressed the button, plus they had 59 missiles that were past their sell buy date and needed using so it cost nowt

I would agree with you more fully but for the fact that Assad's regime has shown just as much contempt for civilian lives You could also say, that the US coalition has shown even more contempt for human lives with their actions in Mosul and in the Yemen. Assad's govt. has the support of 80% of the population.. The airstrip attacked by the 23 cruise missiles that survived of the 59/60 launched, had nothing to do with any chemical attack ( the planes there had no capability to use chemical weapons ) but was involved with staving off an Israeli attack earlier this month. The so called "white helmets" have been proved by unaligned media to be hand in hand with ISIS and Al Nusra front. Links to the above can easily be provided, or some research into non msm media will provide the same results. Try the saker and 21st century wire for some unbiased reporting on current events.

My comment on the attitude of Assad's regime to human life was not in anyway meant to preclude other governments. I am puzzled about your statement that the aircraft using the particular airfield had no capability of launching chemical weapons AFAIK the base was for combat aircraft which would be capable of carrying munitions of various types ...... again AFAIK, chemical warheads can be fitted to a huge range of munitions both air and ground launched Incidentally I don't believe there is such a thing as unbiased reporting ....... all journalists have an axe to grind ...... just as do all politicians.
