Some pikeys left it behind in the tesco Bulls Bridgistan car park. (At Hayes on the Grand Union). Its got a flat tyre but looks like there is a nice enamel sink. Someone has taken the knobs off the matching gas hob. Windows all good. I'm sure tesco would be happy to let it go for a few beers. Attachments:

I think tomsk is after one to go with his new transit. I have absolutely no use for a caravan being neither a pikey or a swinger.

I lived in a caravan for 3 months with 3 small children in-between house sales...that one pictured pure luxury compared to the dive I slept in...bucket and chuck it(down mums loo) toilet..no running water..I still tremble thinking of those months...emotionally scarred thats me...all my clothes reeked of mildew..and where was the man to whom I was joined to in marital harmony...he got himself sent off on deployment for 3 months and I don't think he slept one night in our 'des res'.....oh and when we moved into our house he moved all our stuff in and went off on deployment leaving me surrounded by cardboard boxes....i guess this is why i got through the awfulness of living here during renovation.

My friend used to buy knackered old caravans, tart them up a bit, then sell them on. He bought a proper old gypsy van from the local site, very run down but obviously very fancy at some point in the past. When he pulled the broken old fridge out he found a wooden box hidden behind it, full of traditional Roma gold jewellery. Made himself a pretty penny from it.

I had a fairly good look at it. Its wrecked inside but looks reasonable on the outside. I really like the enamel sink. I hate caravans and am no expert on this topic. Some quality external light fittings on there. When I passed the area a couple of weeks ago there was a fairly organised camp in the car park with generators going etc. They've gone now and this caravan has definitely been left behind for Tesco to deal with.

I'm moored not far from it for the night. Could sneak over later in my stealth electric kayak and have a look behind the fridge. Very tempting.

Patty's mention of 'bucket and chuckitt' reminds me of a little true story.
My mate has a boat, the macerator pump out loo of which, he guards with his life.
No one uses it, including him and his missus. Pubs and public loos are his idea of heaven.
Anyway, some years ago his old Dad visited for a weekend, for the first time.
John explained the purpose of the bucket in the shower, and left his Dad to let nature take it's course.
Some time later, John went to use the bucket, but was surprised to discover it empty.
"I thought I told you to pee in the bucket Dad" he said.
"You did" said George, "And that's what I did".
"But the bucket's empty" said John, bewildered.
"Ah, well, when I'd finished I flushed it down the loo" he said.

daffingdales are all withered now, the bluebells and wild garlic have taken over in the local woods.
