Just found this on my phone... she was near us the other week for a few days and returned home.
The 'Audio waring system' is courtesy of "Daisy" - Mick's dog!

Now if you'd got to fit that out, you'd have your hands full.

Was she moored at the end of the run from Stanley Ferry, just before the last lock onto the river? It's familiar but not sure where from.

Keith one of my neighbors used to skipper her when she was full sized and a working boat. They chopped a big chunk out of her to make her manageable as a livaboard

Where are you moored. We may well be coming down to Wakefield in a few weeks, fit in a visit to the Hepworth gallery, go as far as Stanley Ferry before coming home.

We're opposite a couple of enormous Humber barges (painted blue with yellow lines) on the right hand side coming from wakey. From the tow path we're obviously gayers thanks to Andys' "planter regime but don't let that put you off lol. Call in - better still, bring a paint brush!

I know at least 2 others who are well into their allotments. Dirty hands = a bit of rough? I'll keep an eye out for your orange poll!

lol we USED to have an allotment but handed it back when I had my discectomy - the bungalow DOES have larger than average garden and up until getting the boat, was the best in the street... this year, it's a bit sparce as I didn't bother sowing any annuals due to the amount of time spent working on the boat. AS for my orange poll? - STRAIGHT over my head

Now I'm concerned.
We have thirteen or more flower pots on the roof because we love flowers.
I wasn't aware that I was sending out a message, other than that, I like flowers.
Still, there's worse things to be thought of.
