1/2" hose, 1/2" inline plastic valve and hose clips from work = £0.00
1/2" plastic tee on eBay = £2.59.
Water level gauge = 👍

I fitted the level gauge as I was redoing the system anyway, I'm going to pull Mrs Gazza's leg over her excessive consumption as I will npw be able to accurately work out how much she uses in a day

Gravity does it for me. The floor starts sloping up towards front of boat. I am very sensitive.

When I can see the Bow Thruster Tube I know its time to fill up Yes, I do something similar, I can tell by how the foreward rubbing strakes are sitting in the cut how full the fresh water tank is, although I need to empty out the toilet cassette once a week, and always fill the water tank at the same time. I suppose a gauge would be nice, but I've only ever run out of water once, and that was deliberately, so I could see how long the tank lasted.

Complete with bit of crusty spunk rag poked into the top of the pipe to stop the pump sucking air in. Hmmm, I think I prefer an electronic gauge driven by a microprocessor. So much purer.

But not as accurate! Your system is a bit like smartgauge should be right but often not, whereas that bit of tube will always be right as long as it doesnt get sealed
