20 years since I was last on the Island, 19 years since me and Mrs Gazza met.... When I saw the first post Lady Isabella came to my mind .............. but then saw male, so didn't bother posting Last TT I saw was 1976 ....... last visit to IOM 1980 I quite fancy going back again ...... but I never seem to have the time '76 last year on the GP calendar, pretty much a Yamaha stranglehold on the results! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_Isle_of_Man_TTDad was a regular to the TT through the 70's. I started going with him in '93 through to '97. First off on the back of anyone who would chauffeur me, '95 on a Kawasaki AR80 (surreptitiously registered as a 50 ) '96 in a Ford Capri then '97 on my old man's VF 400, no one had any faith my Spondon framed RD 250 would last the week! to be fair, it was the right choice, while the RD would have been fun, it would have been an utter balls ache being totally honest with myself! The VF was epic over there with an 18 year old onboard. I too would love to go back, it may be some considerable time before that happens again! Although if my boss and his lad take their 205 GTI over for the Manx Rally things may change - easier to sell a trip in a car with the girls than a holiday on my own on a bike!

The Manx rally really appeals - a good while ago but here is Mark Higgins getting a move on in a Civic.
