Not sure where or why I came across this the other day but I very much like this song
I was 5 when they made it in 1979 but don't recall ever hearing it until a few days ago.
ETA probably because it is complete shite but I still like it.

Just stumbled across this, another soundtrack I remember from one of the European roadshows I worked on where it was played as part of a video demonstration, for Xerox photocopiers rather bizarrely.
I'm not the world's greatest Madonna fan but this was very different to most of the cheesy pop she had made up to this point, addressing the concept of female inequality. The video was hugely controversial and MTV refused to play it because of the violent content. It's worth a watch/listen if you haven't come across it before, it's not one of her better known singles.

I posted this video as a comment on another thread but it's so good that it deserves to be archived here. The girls are called the Gazzarri Dancers and the choreography is superb. Sadly Bobby Fuller died around six months after this footage was taken, in suspicious circumstances, to say the least.

Happy to say that my younger daughter (who will be 9 next month) has learnt the Chicken song. I feel this is a landmark in education.
First music I ever bought when it was No.1 back in the 80s I was about 12 or 13. My mate bought Guns n Roses.
Class music.
