They covered a Bob Dylan song very successfully too Rog There is a narrow boat called "The mighty Quinn" I always find myself singing parts of that song when I see the boat.

Jane's a pain with spotting boat name song titles ... I always have to put up with renditions of whatever we pass. I dread seeing Danny Boy in particular Rog

Terrible grammar though. "You've not see nothin..." The horror. Piece of trivia, the stammer on that was added to take the piss out of his brother who has a stammer.

It's a bit melancholy. Original lyrics by Neil Young.

Don’t listen to much music apart from radio 2 in the car, but I do like to play the piano sometimes. So much better to be making the music yourself with your own emotion inserted, even though no doubt it sounds shit to anyone unfortunate enough to be within earshot. The joys of the internet, you hear a tune, you download it from MusicNotes.com, and tinkle away. Been playing Hallejulah. Yes I know Alexandra Burke did it (Burke by name etc) but it’s a Leonard Cohen song.

Alexandra Burke didn't do it, Simon Cowell did. In fact he cynically bought the rights for a paltry sum from Mr Cohen and then exploited it. Come the glorious day he'll be the first against the wall etc.

Reading further up this slightly abandoned thread I noticed the word 'passenger'.
I have a theory that whenever anyone else plays music very loud it is always bad music. This theory has proved to be correct (imo) in every situation be it cars, neighbours, home and away, festivals, random things etc with one exception.
I once heard someone playing this song really loud and I was like "omg"
This is ok to play loud.
Isn't it.
