Ok I'm drunk so I have copied this of faceache. I though it might be topical. The Welsh Government is proposing to include all inland waterways in open access under the CROW act. Please read the proposal and complete the questionnaire in support of improved access, this will give a right to paddle and swim in all Welsh Inland waters and to wild camp on CROW land, and to include the coast in the access land. Responsibilities will be created with any improved rights of access. Proposal 10 onwards are the ones most relevant to adventurers. consultations.gov.wales/node/11069/respond-onlineNot sure at this point if canals are included

Bwrdd GlandΕ΅r Cymru advises C&RT on Welsh affairs. Minutes available on C&RT's website up to February. Thanks Allan. You don't happen to have any contact details do you? Nigel Annett appears to be the chair - would he be the best person to contact? No I don't have contact details. However, it is often possible to find this information from the internet. I have done this for some other C&RT Trustees. Let me know if you would like me to do this Nigel Annett. You may also want to contact or copy Andrew Stumpf C&RT's Head of Wales - Andrew.Stumf@canalrivertrust.org.uk - as Annett has only chaired one meeting ...
