Just had notification that between July and October, dredging work will be taking place from the Soulbury three locks to Ivinghoe, along with vegetation work.
Good to see the work scheduled, it's certainly needed.

What a waste of money, it should be spent on enforcement! Get rid of boaters, no dredging needed.😙

Rog About bloody time, we were dragging our bottom in a few spots along there when we were down to Marsworth a few weeks back (when passing oncoming boats, where we had to give up the centre of the cut). & we don't sit very deep in the water either, not sure how others were making out.

We're 2ft 4" and also found it in need of dredging. Hope they do a good job. Last year we went down the southern Staffs and Worc and they dredged it, and this year we went down the GU and they're dredging that. I'm begining to feel special Rog

Maybe not the whole, but for a small consideration I'm willing to take requests That doesn't include being told to go away and procreate I hasten to add. Rog

CRT spends £30,000.00 just on staff alone per canal mile (not allowing for contractors wages). Makes my eyes water. No wonder they are short of money for maintenance.
