According to the latest BBC weather report we are supposed to have been experiencing heavy rain for the last few hours here. I know predicting the weather is a challenge but when they can't get it right for NOW, it doesn't give you a lot of confidence.
I think the BBC get the data from the met but I'm wondering if it's delayed by a number of hours. That might explain it. Alternatively, (paranoia hat on) it all adds to their policy of depressing everyone....

I have learnt that the forecasts can only be relied on, generally over the next 24 hours, and then only 80% accurate. However it gives an indication of likely weather at least. We were forecast to have heavy rain showers around 6pm yesterday, but I'm pleased to report we were sat out in the sun outside the 61 at Foxton, enjoying cold San Mig. Sometimes the inaccuracies can be good Rog

Accuweather seem about the closest though I tend to surf a few until I find the most optimistic!

But if it's showery, it's hit and miss whether one will happen above you, which is where live radar rainfall plots on a phone or tablet comes in handy - at least you get a bit of notice.

I'm waiting to see if the umpteen paper hankies tied to various fuel pipe unions are staying dry ...... then I'll know I have finally tracked down all the fuel weeps from the disturbed pipework

But trying to summon up the energy to go out to the garage to replace a fork seal in the Hayabusa. I've had a bad back recently, which is my excuse for laziness.
