And saw the following :-
1 TWAT
2 boats on the move
4 canoes, one with two dogs onboard
A gaggle of folk singers and musicians.
A clutch of bell ringers.
A flock of sheep.
A herd of cows.
Many wildfowl, some with chicks/cygnets what have you.
No fisher folk.
After all that excitement I was forced to have a couple of pints of the excellent guest ale Adnams Lighthouse in the Kings Head just to steady me up.
We didn't get wet, the oil leak is fixed, another 10 litres of diesel has gone into the fuel tank.
I love boating 🚢⚓🍻👍

Thank goodness for that. Thought you'd had a fall out with your good lady, sorry. Rog Mrs Gazza was at home (although she could start an argument in a phone box but that's a different story ) it was my Dad, The dwarf, some friends from the club and their granddaughter along with me. Confined to barracks today, few jobs to do around home and then a BBQ if the weather holds 👍🍻

I saw some twats yesterday, they were fishing in Victoria quays basin [no fishing allowed big signs everywhere] they caught a 21 pound mirror carp which by the time they had finished was fairly well injured!! they still insisted on weighing it, taking a picture of the great catch and finally returning the badly bleeding fish to the water. By which point the police arrived and arrested the pair! They were lead away protesting their innocence saying they never saw the signs etc etc, unfortunately for them someone had filmed the whole thing, including them looking at the no fishing signs! So I nominate them for the twat of the week prize. By the way it wasnt me that bubbled them it was a business owner who sells carp food he is sick to death of idiots like these two who with their actions often kill a 30 year old fish

You missed 'Gaggle of Gongoozlers', gazza! There was a small collection of onlookers, I think the folkies had scared everyone off. They were quite good actually, Curly was telling me they have an annual get together, camp on the scout field up the back of Wadenhoe church, jam on the paddock of the pub, drink beer, have a BBQ laid on for them by the pub and generally have a good time. Sounds alright to me 🍻👍
