I remember those pieces of crap being hawked around the bike and classic car shows 15 years ago - along with the copper bracelets to cure rheumatism were science couldn't!
Item details says one sold, that's one Muppet £50+ lighter for no gain.

It's amazing they can get away with making the claims that they do. Is ebay not regulated the same as other advertising?

That's why its indefensible that successive governments have not made them jointly libel for any deficiency in the product or service they assist in selling. WE have a precedent with credit cards. If they did it would make Ebay and the likes of Amazon rather more careful about the content they host.
