Not thick on two counts, the first being that the boat isn't being left unattended, Jeff is staying down on it. And secondly, if I did dis people at Reading who never move their boats, it seems pretty unlikely that they would suddenly decide to up sticks, but a CRT licence and move their boats to Hungerford just to have a go. You stated previously that whilst you were in Aberdeen, Geoff would be likely to spend a few days in London. Make your mind up, or stop lying. It is you who is lying, I never said any such thing. I don't even know who this "Geoff" you keep mentioning, is. Your imaginary friend, perhaps?

Well at least I move around a bit and meet lots of people. You never move so you'll only meet your neighbours. I guess they are used to you by now. Anyway, you've never been on the KandA so you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. As usual.

Yet still making it up as you go along.

Definition for impression; an idea, feeling, or opinion about something or someone, especially one formed without conscious thought or on the basis of little evidence. Yes, good choice of word for you.

Brewers gut going downstream in a flow was the closest I have come to loosing the solar panels. After the traffic lights at county lock which went red again before we had leapt back on the boat, I said this is a fun run darling I don't know what everyone's talking about..... Until the arched bridge! Ooooops full throttle turning green with me saying if we gonna hit its gonna be hard! Of course my superior helmsman skills won through by we reckon a good inch. Exiting I agree, I look forward to going upstream! Downriver through Brewery Gut is best tackled by swinging at County Lock and 'dropping down' stern first. Depending on prevailing conditions, like wind speed and direction, and river levels/current, it can be done with or without rigging up some sort of dropping down weight. Coming into the slight bight (bend) just topside of the bridge ( I think it was called 'High Bridge' ! ? !) you have to cant the fore-end (bow) towards the ness (inside of bend) just enough to keep the river current on the starboard bow as the stern is going under the bridge. If you allow the current to hit the port bow too soon then it will push you into the bight and up against the bridge arch stonework. Well that's a little known secret! I've boated down that stretch well over a hundred times in everything from a Shetland Family 4 to a tug and butty and in conditions where the water was starting to come over the gates at County lock, and I muat have seen many hundreds of boats doing the transit, but I ain't ever seen that.

So who is thick? I ask a person for evidence backing a statement they have made, they reply that I must go and find my own evidence to back up their position. Doesn't that lead one to believe they don't have any evidence themselves, that their position is insecure. Furthermore, not to realise that insults aren't evidence, or an answer to a simple question, but an evasion is also a demonstration of a lack of intellect, or maybe social skills. Now which hole will the mole pop up?
