It's the same as Abbey & Mikes boat moored next to me, Heskin's also did that red widebeam further down Jetty 3 that sold & left last year. That wanker Mawdesely from Hitler's Whalf had something do with them but not 100% sure! Neighbours are happy with theirs! π Did you spot it's parked over the road? I've just had a peep through the windows, front bit is bigger than it looks π and kitchen is bigger than needs to be. I could still have a decent size living area with a bit of jiggling. If you decide to buy it, I can offer a boat moving service direct to your present moorings at a very reasonable Β£60 per day! ππ

I don't like the solid cratch bit, but it allows for what I want on the inside. I don't favour walk through bathrooms either, or cross beds. Approx 6ft headroom might be too low or owner may be short enough not to have measured. Son is 6'2"-3". At least it doesn't have pump out. Going for a proper look later...

At least with this rain you'll be able see if it leaks like a sieve! Not fancy buying that Gorton tug with a daft low bid for your lad to live on & keep yours as is, then you could double up on trips etc and both have your own space?

Two boats is definitely a better way to go in my opinion for two mature people living together but not as a couple. I lived for a few years on a narrow boat and my mum had one as well. We travelled together but ha independent living arrangements. Thats assuming it is financially and mooringly an option.
What about a butty?

So is it a done deal then? It's looking that way, but with the top half having been rather neglected and the bottom having been blasted and 2-pac'd just a year ago I've decided I'd be a mug not to have the hull surveyed so arranging that. Otherwise it's looking like a done deal. π

Good move!! So moving to the dark side or staying put here? Staying here, moving up to a posher jetty. Shame really, I like it with the riff raff.

Which jetty? You'll have to keep that beard trimmed if you come on ours!

Which jetty? You'll have to keep that beard trimmed if you come on ours! Don't think I'll be moved to "fully posh" when they see the paintwork! but I may be allowed as far up in the world as yours. More likely just the other side of where I am already tbh but nothing has been arranged apart from promising a berth somewhere.

You can't come on jetty 3, I've got my reputation as the 'scruffiest & noisiest fecker on the jetty' to uphold!ππ
