It has bridges, locks but not seen water points or services. Or any good mooring points.

Not had time for a good firtle round the site but I did see something about users adding points of interest to the maps. Hence "open" canalmaps.

I had a look few days ago and sent a few updates with water points etc on our local waterways. Just checked again and they have been added. This could become an excellent resource in time and with input.

the good news which I dident realise is that it's always on Google maps.
just got to work out if it shows the updated version or just the one from when I downloaded it.
