I think it was dogless of this parish who expresed an interest in seeing these. Just loaded onto Google Photos. Seems like a suitable subject for a Sunday! I spent 8 hours ensconced up in this dusty tower four weeks ago, Monday 17th July 2017. Probably the first time these bells have been photographed with a digital camera. It was a project to record the inscriptions. Clicking the i symbol brings out the text. Our boat was parked in Bingley at the time, so it was back to Gargrave by train. goo.gl/photos/AG3JQxMXrj6vtQrY9

Ross, you will like this.
I will try and attach the video later.
a friend of mine was visiting Lincoln cathedral yesterday, she accidently stumbled across the bloke who was about to ring the bells for evening song.
he let her do it. it was a proud moment for her ringing the bells of such a big cathedral.
Adi.

Yep, it's a fine cathedral, have visited it a few times. Lincoln is one of my favourite towns. 12 bells and practice on Thursdays according to the Dove's Guide: dove.cccbr.org.uk/doveParts.php?letter=L
