I would say that between a knife and a fork, the fork is the primary utensil, It pins stuff down when cutting it and carts the food from the plate to mouth. So it makes sense to me to match the primary utensil with the dominant hand, for the majority, this is the right hand, So why on earth is it etiquette to use the left hand for the fork and the right for the knife? Its just backward! Also the fork requires more dexterity in its use so again why insist on letting your left hand struggle with a task its simply not up to Its Strange when you watch people merrily munching something that only requires a fork, using it in their right hand, then swap the fork to the left when they require the assistance of a knife...I mean WTF? Since I've been able to use cutlery, the fork has always remained in my right hand, despite protests from my ex-wife that claimed I was setting a bad example to the babygirls at feeding time!🙄 Where does this backward approach come from? I've never considered how I use a knife and fork or if I swap them at any time...don't think gonna really give it much consideration now...so long as food gets from plate to mouth ..who really cares? Let it all hang out...

Thought I’d resurrect this thread after a foodie incident in a pub in Bradford yesterday. Had a smashing main course of Mixed seafood risotto, then when it came to desert, Ms B ordered a ‘Chocolate bagel with Nutella trimming and Clotted cream’ . This is what arrived! 🤢😡👎 I mean...what the bloody f**k are these Kitchen people actually thinking when they serve this? That really is pretty disgusting....

One particularly boring afternoon, a colleague, who was very artistic, cut up an olive so that it resembled a large fly. I wish I had a picture, it was most life-like. It was served to a customer on a salad. We expected the shit to hit the fan but he just moved it to the side of his plate.

My last ridiculous dinner was way back on the 27th December 2018 in Ely Burger on an enamel tray - the big flaw with this is the thermal conductivity of tin compared to ceramic , the food was cold in no time at all 🧐 It hadn’t actually re-entered the earth’s atmosphere and was actually very tasty. The bun had charcoal in it to help keep my teeth white and my turds shiny and easy to deal with 🙈😜

Suitable thread to post these pics? Took the Witch to the river Viirre valley, to a spot we visited a few years back and noticed there were lots of berries. There are millions there, but will be riper in a week or two. Unfortunately there are also moose flies which drop onto you from the trees and crawl about in your hair before biting you. They see something large move, and assume it's a moose. I have heard they can't use human blood, but they bite you anyway. Lingonberries. Perfect for sauteed reindeer with mashed potato.
