Part 3 of Witchy & Foxy Up North, the story of our slow journey along the Leeds & Liverpool, starting in Nantwich, along the Bridgewater Canal, up the Wigan 21, past Chorley and through Blackburn and Burnley, through Skipton and Leeds, and on to Goole and Selby. Then from Selby to Wakefield, Dewsbury and Mirfield to Sowerby Bridge. This set of photos take us from Chorley to East Marton, and here we enter Pendle country where the huge bulk of that hill catches the eye of many a view, its summit being 557 metres (1,827 ft) above sea level. It is an isolated hill, separated from the Pennines to the east, the Bowland Fells to the northwest, and the West Pennine Moors to the south. On clicking the link below and seeing all the photos appear at once, you should then click on the first photo to enlarge it, and then click the little i (information sign top right) for the text I have added to appear. Then you may either click the forwards arrow to continue to the next photo, or use your keyboard arrow buttons to sail back and forth. goo.gl/photos/3AELkPLEW9p5Cepk9

There are to be six sets of pics. In set 4 we're just hanging around the Skipton area, in set 5 we get to meet kris and Medlock and arrive in Goole, in set 6 we go to Selby and I meet Johnv & Sabina in Hull, and we pass Wakefield and Dewsbury and through Mirfield and Brighouse to end up at our old haunt of Sowerby Bridge.
The photos are already loaded but I haven't done the captions yet - texts for set 4 this week - set 4 to appear next Saturday.
