we have a decent DSLR. however I take lots of photos then forget about them.
at least I see the photos on the phone again.
which as just reminded me to go have a look, might be some good pictures on there.

i havent taken many photos this year, but this is my favourite. A very nice picture of a beautiful piece of floating English History, too bad that there are only so few left. Peter.

I’ll contribute with this one : (Supposing my first attempt at linking to imgur succeeds – not sure which link to use. May have to keep trying different ones.) That was actually the third attempt.

Very nice. Would be a good "guess the location" photo.

I doubt in 10 years time we will see anyone carrying cameras unless you're a true professional or a 'Pap' of course. - even those have been known to use phones too. I haven't seen a mobile phone yet with a) a socket for a tripod b) a socket for flash cables. It's really very lazy and sloppy just pulling your phone out and snapping and expecting to win a competition. Well I would agree except to-day decided to have another go at getting up the final steep rocky slope on the Outer part of the Worms Head..there is no way I could have got up there nor over the 'jagged rocks' with tripods or cameras ..it was a crawl on all fours up and a slither down on my bum, perhaps not the safest trek Ive bin on....Fab views and thats my 5th trek over this summer...the pull of that place cannot resist and no doubt will be off over again soon...used my mobile to take my pics....

Very nice. Would be a good "guess the location" photo. It looks a lot like Potter Heigham on the Norfolk Broads to me.

Very nice. Would be a good "guess the location" photo. It looks a lot like Potter Heigham on the Norfolk Broads to me. Never been there myself. You could well be right. Only thing I can think of from places I have been is Pharaohs Island on the Thames. Seems unlikely but the Thames has been known to freeze occasionally.

Wow Nigel, what a beautiful, & atmospheric pic. It looks more like a painting than a photo, well done!
