He is a poor role moral and the kids deserve more.

it sounds like he did go to the police station to identify himself and apologise.
it wouldn't surprise me if the prosecuting barrister goaded him on to the point where he told him where to get off.

I hate the way people are treated in court under questioning..Ive attended quite a few court cases and I'd hate to be questioned....they wouldn't give me time to ponder..
