We've just come back from a weekend away in Banburgh, celebrating my folk's 50th Wedding annniversry. On Sunday, Andy and I took a walk around the castle and I could almost imagine the excited look on Vince's face, were he there! Imagine all the "stabbing" he could do with that lot!

A small grey No Entry sign could do a lot of damage!

I've left my knives at home this week as I am out and about in my mighty juggernaut and have a great big fuck off trailer winding handle with which to deal with the recalcitrant, when I am not busy murdering prostitutes.

You working over the winter then? Didn't realised you'd started yet. Rog Yes, this is my second week back at work, I'm skint now. I'll probably be at work until the clocks go forward next year, then away for the Summer. Maybe do an early trip to Llangollen, then some of the canal festivals. Having said that, I change my cruising plans more often than my underwear so it could be K&A by next week. I suppose I'd rather be cruising now, although I like driving artics too, especially when I've had a few months away from them. I'm trying to work out a way of stealing that engine out of the truck and putting it in my boat instead.

I guess the old "this knife is for clearing the propeller on my narrow boat officer" line doesn't cut the mustard when you are in the wagon. Can't you just crush the scrotes' heads under a front wheel?

You are a canal 'tart' Mr Stabby, just like me. We've decided to do the Llangollen in spring as well. But then I see photos of Oxford, and suddenly I want to go there. Then I see Bath, and I want to go on the K&A. At the moment the plan is , Llangollen, Bridgewater, then Leeds & Liverpool, but plenty of time to change our minds Did my first shift on Sunday, and was phoned this morning to go in for 4 hours o/t. Winter is coming Rog

You are right. It would be good to get there in time to see them scrape enough points to avoid relegation Newcastle.....need I say more Rog
