Has anyone seen anything on a boat which they found confusing, disturbing or downright mysterious? I spotted these plastic cans of a brown moist lumpy material on a boat yesterday. There were 4 in total. Not sure what they are ? They look like extra large yogurt pots They have stickers saying "divine" but I am unsure if the material in them is the original product supplied in the containers. They were sitting on the stern deck of a narrow boat as shown in picture below. Quite near the tiller. Anyone else seen anything weird recently ?

Compost loo contents? Or where the buckets not that big? I wondered about that but they were quite small containers. I'm not that au fait with the whole compost toilet arrangement but do people actually store shit on the boat? This seems very impractical. I've seen it discussed but sort of assumed it was all a bit of a giggle. The best option for a cruising boat is obviously elsan or pump out. Permanent moorings its a bit more technical but I can see no advantage in storing shit on board. It does not appear to make sense. I reckon it was yogurt. But it was in full sun so must have a very short shelf life.
