www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41541165A man arrested following a crash outside London's Natural History Museum has been released under investigation, police said. The 47-year-old had been questioned on suspicion of dangerous driving. I just read that and the tweet that says thanks ymto the people who helped pin him down. the question is does anyone know why they felt they had to pin him down. he has just been in a car crash.

so do we descend to the level of repeating every alarmist media item that we can find? Like that rubbish reference to Dubai taken from one of those '20 most amazing fat arses' type websites that are just full of crap. Aim some/most of your ire at the media. I ignore much of the media, particularly 'popular press' like Metro and 'fun' websites, but anyone who copies such shit into a forum without a sign of scepticism is even worse than the poor journalists trying to eek out a living from fake, speculative or inflated news.

Because they obviously initially felt it was a deliberate act....ie an act of terrorism, and were not taking any chances.

Not attempting to brake whilst smashing through people = a deliberate act of terrorism in my view. When the Daily Mail allows no comments underneath the article, and the Police release no details, you just know there's something shifty about it all. How do you know he didn't attempt to brake? Or if he did the brakes were defective, or he passed out or or or......

It's reassuring to know that the latest 'alleged' terrorists are, at the very least, concerned about the environment by choosing the Prius as the new weapon of choice! Watt was he thinking?🙄

Watt was he thinking?🙄 Well if it was running on electric it actually would be a good choice as you can barely hear one approaching.

The Natural History Museum is shit anyway. None of the dinosaur skellingtons is real, it's like having a museum of fake Rolex watches.

Id be interested to know if he, or indeed, both he and his Prius have been charged since the incident?

I can see why you put that in quotes - clearly, like me, you don't have a clue what was actually being said, except that hippos at summer camp in London tended to put on weight.
