Conflicting reports as to what he was doing.
"Kissing a fish" tradition or jokingly putting it up to his mouth and suggesting its about the right size to eat.
Either way he was fekkin lucky.

I have seen it a few times when fisherman kiss there catch, but thats only a quick lips closed kiss, not a bloody full on frenchy snog.

Does anybody actually believe this story, i mean kissing a 6 incher and it goes all the way down and they near swallow it.

It all goes to show that if you need to swallow a fish you definitely want to put the tail in first.

Earthworms are ok. Just hold them up over your mouth and let them wriggle a bit. Once they hit your palette the swallowing instinct takes over and you've got yourself some protein (v.small amount of protein so not really worth doing).
