Haha! The Daily Mail, huh? That's a crime in itself! Ha...I was going to post the original link to the ITV news article I read but decided 'the pudding needed over-egging' a little! Any how, I'm sure that due to budget cuts the Forum Police won't be investigating the linkπ

The money is being diverted to essential secret service work. Organisations like MIx are working tirelessly to prevent a massive catastrophic apocalyptic event happening.
Nobody is allowed to be told* what that event actually is going to be but its incredibly serious and entirely justifies all the cuts to local police services etc.
*I could tell you but it would not end well.

I expect speeding and other petty 'motorist based' revenue raising stuff will still be rigorously policed tho.

I think you can be assured the errant motorist will still get plenty of attention as they represent a very soft and easy target. Phil

The Tories are also selling off prisons to convert into housing.
In general there seems to be a drive for government to shed all responsibility for everything other than tax gathering from individuals.

I will try harder. Hopefully the spelling police are as lax as the real ones.

The will refuse to even write to the RK and ask them nicely to pay. Shoplifting is a joke. When they are eventually caught they get all their thefts put together and have a week in prison. They are free to carry on again.

I have no sympathy for police that whine about their lack of budget while they are still spending time arresting people for daft shit like smoking weed or telling slightly off jokes on Twitter. If they still have funds to do that, then their funding is still too high. The problem isn't with lack of funding, it is with poor allocation of resources. They only want to go after easy targets to keep their figures up.

If they didn't waste money on investigating a young girl who died in Portugal around a decade ago, and on a dead tory politician they might have more to spend on things that are happening now.
