The thought of all those Americanz testing to cross the Atlantic in rubber dinghies and breach out borders is horrible.
We need a wall along the entire coast of west England and Wales. Get the Scots to pay for it.

That report is more dodgy than the Iraqi WMD one.
90 % really.
And they believe America cannot defend itself from missiles from the south. Get a grip. Anything they fire will be destroyed before it gets anywhere near the States.
Now it would have to be a bug nuclear emp if they think the can cover the entire USA.
I liked the comment about selling gold and buying but coin. Yeah cos that will help in a country without computers.
Talking of which, would it be possible to destroy the Internet?

It wouldn't be possible to destroy the Internet completely. Remember it's origins where In defence networks. But emp would wipe out most people's debices for accessing it. So it would effectively be destroyed for the majority of users.

EMP only lasts whilst the device has gone off once the dust settles comms are restored. Morse code can work through EMP the ARMY has it distributed through the UK its called Mold talkthrough or was up until a couple of years ago

The EMP can destroy semiconductors in unhardened equipment, which would include most communications and radio gear.. Morse operation nowadays would be heavily dependent on electronic encoder/decoders, most of which would not survive.

Problem would obviously be that power generation systems are run by computers. If computers go off then so does the electric which means the computer can't be switched back on.
