So say the Who Why start this thread? Well, today while prepping the boats for paint on Wednesday I stuck my phone into the boat stereo and cranked the volume up to 11. My mate is the same age as me and has the same musical tastes. His 14 year old lad obviously isn't and doesn't. I stuck Rage Against The Machines eponymous album on, an album that was quite impressive when released and much listened to as a teenager into my early 20's - when I asked young un what he thought to it, his response was 'it's a bit aggressive' this somewhat surprised me, given that modern music is utterly shite. It set my brain whirling - so, as a barometer of angst I thought I'd see where the Domesday Clock was at in 1992 - a relaxed and chilled 17 minutes to midnight compared to the current alarming 2.5 minutes to midnight. So the world was a better place back then, but in the eyes of one current teenager closer to annihilation than any time since 1953 we were an angry aggressive lot when RATM were sweeping all before them Can't think why he came to this conclusion 👍

Hmmm am I really gonna like Sid Vicious??? I don't think he would have cared. I once had tickets for the Sex Pistols, at The Champness Hall in Rochdale, however the methodist committee who owned the hall band them. At a Thin Lizzy gig at the same venue, I saw a couple shagging away on the seats, I do wonder who sat in the puddle at service on Sunday morning
