As we locked down at Penkridge yesterday my mrs found a clone of my favourite top in the rubbish, a www.buffalosystems.co.uk/products/special-6-shirt/All manky and shredded so she chopped a few bits off for patches. Bloody marvellous I say. We have just realised that it was mine, must have blown off our roof when we watered up and some poor bastard must have had a prop full of it. I APOLOGISE!!! But if it makes you feel better my replacement is £125

I never knew buffalo's wore trousers
(I do the "I never knew fish had hands" joke with my kids whenever they have fish fingers - but they see straight through it!)

As my old Mum always said "Don't worry about the rain, it stops at your skin". Rog But they are good. We wear them 3000 ft up in the cullin in winter. Warm and dry they can be the difference between walking down or getting airlifted out.

Patty, if you haven't already, you should invest in some decent underlayers. Something that allows moisture out. Go outdoors or some where simular should be able to help. I'm a snob when it comes to mountain gear. My berghous waterproof coat keeps me dry. I have a spare berghouse coat that I acquired. It's for sailing so that keeps the wind and rain out well. Might be too big for you though.
