As we locked down at Penkridge yesterday my mrs found a clone of my favourite top in the rubbish, a www.buffalosystems.co.uk/products/special-6-shirt/All manky and shredded so she chopped a few bits off for patches. Bloody marvellous I say. We have just realised that it was mine, must have blown off our roof when we watered up and some poor bastard must have had a prop full of it. I APOLOGISE!!! But if it makes you feel better my replacement is £125 One Christmas I went for a Works drink, got horribly pissed, staggered home and lost my treasured Failsworth headgear en-route. In the New Year Mme Cholet and I were on a shopping mission and as we entered Sainsbury's car park glinting in the sunlight at me from the shrubbery was the Failsworth label. I rushed to retrieve it but it had been savaged by dogs and the label was just about all that was left. Gutted.

Ive just had to have a look at them..they look ok, I get fed up with being wet n cold....so next time anyone shrinks some and needs to rehome........ Patty, if you haven't already, you should invest in some decent underlayers. Something that allows moisture out. Go outdoors or some where simular should be able to help. I'm a snob when it comes to mountain gear. My berghous waterproof coat keeps me dry. I have a spare berghouse coat that I acquired. It's for sailing so that keeps the wind and rain out well. Might be too big for you though. You are right and its something every time I get soaked I say 'Must do' and then I don't...however with fences to botch and the annual knotweed clearance fast approaching just maybe this is the year I sort out proper waterproofs..got lots cheapo's which let water in but keep mud out. I have finally sorted out proper walking and sort of climbing boots for my slippery treks over the Worm so I'm slowly getting there
