I found this in my letter box today. I thought it was really funny at the time (old fashioned sense of humour) but to be fair its quite offensive. Someone having a bit of a giggle? I never filled any forms in using that name. Maybe they just think up names rather than putting "occupier"? Has anyone else had any "joke name" junk mail ? (Both my parents were white English !) (I cropped the last few lines of the address so the KGB don't get hold of it).

But in fact its a tad offensive so who thought it up..Id return in person and have a deep and meaningful discussion with them... I like occasionally to take on these idiots and give them the benefit of Pattys pearls of wisdom and believe me I can waffle on for a long long time

Leggings.
They obviously think the mooring is a flat and that the owner is solely interested in the local (canary wharf) high yield rental market.this is true for a lot of the flats but not (thankfully/yet) for the moorings !
I hate letting agents.

It's easily done you fill in an online form with some funny/rude name and put in a random or someone you knows address.
They receive some post with the name on.

The rental market stuff I can understand as a good way of throwing someone off the track.

Not quite the same but this reminded me of the time my father in law who had just died was sent a letter addressed to him as his given name surname (deceased). I've substituted his actual name of course.
It was about his council tax.
It opened with,
Dear Mr. Surname,
Due to the recent change in your circumstances......
