I heard in the media today about babies being thrown into fires. What's going on? I heard that this has something to do with what they call a certain "religion", it sadly enough is a "religion" with lots of very fanatic followers that is expanding very rapidly all over the world. Within not all that many years they'll rule our countries, and the world, as we're living in a democracy, so whoever has the most votes wins. I'm preparing myself for a sleepless night as I simply can't get over what I saw on the video.

Sorry, the link didn't work, but you better don't watch it if you want to have a chance to sleep.

Sorry, the link didn't work, but you better don't watch it if you want to have a chance to sleep. There is only good and bad. Good and bad in politics, good and bad in religion, good and bad in you and me. Which do you choose?

What you have to remember is that not so long ago similar things happened over here as well. Life is precious its a shame that all religions didnt realise that

Peter, a quick Google would suggest this was nothing to do with religion but rather the act of a vigilante mob killing a girl accused of killing a taxi driver in Guetamala. As wrong as it is it would appear you have been misinformed regarding the motivation. Ed a further quick Google would suggest that Guetamala is predominantly a Catholic country. Now last time I checked Catholicism is not predicted to rule our countries. Of course I realise this wasn't what you meant but the shit you have posted is just further propagation of anti 'a certain religion' sentiment.

I have not watched the video..the image is enough to sicken me.... I think its all been said before, in some countries acts of barbarism sadly still seem to be the norm... Over here our ancestors behaved in similar manner to persecute in the name of 'religion' or to hold onto power.... I still hope one day man will respect man but I fear it'll never happen in the corrupt world we live in.

I think this is the story I overheard on the radio. mobile.nytimes.com/2017/10/11/world/asia/rohingya-myanmar-atrocities.htmlI think those being attacked are predominantly Muslim. So as I said, there is good and bad in all religions (and non-religion). In the end we can only try to be nice to those around us and hope it washes off on everyone we come in contact with. Sadly sometimes I get it a bit wrong, but try not to give up in this very testing world.

just shows how easy it is to mislead peeps (1) by uploading a video onto 'soshulmeedya' or trashy websites, and then (2) by someone copying the link and passing it on with no mention of location or explanation, and (3) by others implying it was committed by a 'certain group'.
those multiple video links - 'the ten worst xxxxxx ever filmed', etc. show nowt but crap.
I suggest the OP thinks hard before he posts anything like this again.

There is a page entitled "estimates" which gives figures for different countries.

This is a world where people can inherit vast sums of money and obtain it by dubious means without contributing much to society as a whole. So trying to equate financial value to a human life is pretty meaningless. I'd say a good test of our true value as a person is how we'd cope in a world where money no longer exists. We would be judged only on what skills, knowledge and abilities we have to offer others. We'd also be judged on how we have treated others in the past. I think I'm buggered then...
