Oh and this is the A6 at Galgate That's not a nice sight, poor people that live there and get lots of damage to their houses and cars etc. The car dealer on the corner will see the prices of the cars he has for sale go down faster than the water is going up. Hope for him, and for the people in this area that they're well insured. Peter

Are you on Galgate Marina Mark? Where's the bad flooding up that way? My daughter parks her car on Highland Brow, left at the traffic lights, whilst she's at Uni during the week, just a bit concerned it's going be ok!😔 No I'm a few miles further south at the moment. The Lancaster can't flood too badly thankfully. Any news on the car?? That whole area was under more than 2ft of water!!!! Pretty sure this photo was taken round the back of there... and that's a garden wall not a weir Just got report car is all good n safe... water didn’t rise upto where she was parked up the other end from the lights pictured!👍

Son in laws grandparents are flooded out for the second time in recent years. Not fun at the best of times but even less when in your mid 80's.
Had been assured by the EA following recent works to the areas drains that it wouldn't happen again.....
