Black Friday: A cynical marketing ploy to cause further misery to the millions who neither need, nor can afford, to buy much more than food (and pay the rent). For some reason these millions encounter (very temporary) happiness whilst getting further into debt buying yet more Chinese junk. It's rather sad that consumerism has gone this far.

I bought my years membership of the swimming pool for a £147 instead of the usual £202 ish price result or what Thats good...I don't go swimming, hate the whole getting into cold water, goose bumps when i get out, getting splashed....my gym membership on DD for £15.99 a month and I go most days for an hour...have to get my moneys worth....even if I aiming to trek over the Worm I still go to the gym first.

Massive Debit and credit card activity yesterday apparently 'crashed' parts of the electronic payments system resulting in delays in payments made not showing for up to 48 hours on bank accounts. This according to my bank Nationwide...
