Im at work so havent seen it, did see one post on Facebook that called it TFI Friday on wheels, and nothing else.
So if anyone ever liked TFI Friday you will like the new Top Gear.
Me, never could stand TFI and never could stand its presenter.

Nah, didn't do it for me, a pale imitation of the real thing. Can anybody believe that Sabine Shcmitz could be outdriven by the Ginger one. Phil

As I've said on the other Top Gear thread -I cannot stand Chris Evans. If there was ever someone to make ginger hair unpopular...it's him !Big headed t**t

I liked Top Gear when it was a genuine Motoring Program back in the day with William Woollard . I loathe all those silly knobbers standing giggling at Claksons every utterance in the audience and for me these debt laden halfwits with their leased Audi and BMW are as contemptible as Clarkson.

Not sure but think it was around 5. Judging by last night think people will vote with the remote if the second episode is as bad as last nights. Haven't seen any critics reviews yet, so obviously just my humble opinion. One things for sure Clarkson, May and Hammond are all laughing on the way to the bank

Yeah the last series bowed out with 5.8m viewers so last nights figures are substantially down. Is that the price you pay though when a series becomes Personality Based rather than Factual Based ? The BBC have only themselves to blame

Some good car channels on Youtube these days though. Top gear morphed into a lad program - for middle aged 'lads' , maybe they should have gone more back to it's roots for the new format, at least to begin with...

I agree that would have been refreshing.Personally I like to see more of the Working Man on these programmes, the possibilities are endless, buying from auction, restoring bangers, running cars on a budget, buying a first car for the kid,etc etc Instead we have largely irrelevant Super Cars mounted with machine guns.
