Rice Burner. I wonder how much Sake the owner had to dream up that abomination?

Rice Burner. I wonder how much Sake the owner had to dream up that abomination? Technically that's Bosozoku rather the RICE and pretty tame at that. It's a cultural thing that goes over my head missing it by a mile but the amount of time and effort spent creating these cartoon cars is impressive. Not disimilar to the US hot-rod scene of old?

Perhaps they travel around with the big bit inside and attach it when they to go into full peacock mode.

What baffles me is, yes a 4 or 5 year old boy might like one, but a grown up person? Someone made that, presumably without ever stepping back and thinking "wtf am I doing?".

I'm impressed you knew this, I just pinched a pic off Google Rice Burner was always a derogatory term used by the oil stained grumpy motorcyclists that rode clanky old British iron to describe Japanese bikes. The yanks and in particular Fast and The Furious have seen it used almost exclusively for badly modified Hondas and Mitsubishi cars.

He-he, of course I realised that too, hence my post in the first place. Methinks the term is being reclaimed as Race Inspired c...something or other. Bosozoku is really strange. As a product of a society, I don't think I'd like the society it's a product of. Horses for courses though.

What is your favourite type or rice, and why? Dave's rice It goes perfect with my chilli, sweet & sour pork, chicken curry & chicken and mushroom pie filling (without the pie crust obviously)
