I think there will be a massive sell-off (much of it automatically computer-generated) when Bitcoin drops through the $10,000 barrier, then it will be toast. It dropped through 10 earlier today. Why would that signal a death? It only went above 10k for the first time in November... I stand corrected. Still a massive kick in the bollocks for anybody who recently bought Bitcoin at $17,000 though.

Shorting after a large dip might not be a great idea though, just as buying after a large rise is dumb.

Yes indeed, you would have had to be a bit stupid to buy at 17k after a massive rise in a short period though. They were kind of asking for it. Plenty of fuckwits did though, thanks to all the media coverage. I also run a Bitcoin forum and it has been inundated with fuckwits since October. Enjoying watching them freak out today.

Not if your earlier prediction for 2018- "Bitcoin will hit $80k per coin" turns out to be true. Except it won't because it's bollocks.

I love how the DM copy paste this same peice of bullshit into eery article they post:
"Bitcoin exists only in cyberspace and can be exchanged anonymously at the click of a mouse. It is then exchanged for normal money. It is favoured by criminals because it cannot be tracked by officials, making it difficult to catch thieves and money-launderers."
If only they could google things before trying to report on them.

Moulsford and the surrounding area is full of nutters because when they closed down the Fair Mile loony bin a lot of the patients were assimilated into the local community. "Care in the community". I was talking to someone from Wallingford about it and she said Cholsey and Moulsford always have weird shit happening.
Of course the old site of the Hospital which was once a fully functioning asylum with its own farm etc is now moderately expensive South Oxfordshire housing.

You're up early. Just thought I'd keep the subject afloat. My only hidden agenda is to see what Bitcoins are worth by the end of this year (2018). its pretty much a given that it will be worth more. Despite the fluctuations in its value the general trend is up. So with all the extra publicity it's getting i think the rise is enevitable.

This was the best bit: "Dr Craig Wright was suspected as the creator following a report by Wired last year and he has now confirmed his identity as the cryptocurrency's founder. " How can a reporter for a national "newspaper" get things so far off? Do they just write the articles without doing any research at all? I think at this point anything written in British newspapers should just be discarded as bullshit. Pretty much everything they print is bullshit, yet the public laps it up.

It's nice to know that the Government has all of our information kept safe. Everyone frets over this, i couldn't give a monkeys what personal info of mine the ruskies get, banking is the only thing i like to be secure.
