So Virgin trains have dropped the Daily Mail newspaper on their trains, whether you love or hate the paper, is this right? A few months ago Sky dropped Fox News.

Virgins choice what they sell on their trains as it is the choice of any business what they sell.

That sky business confuses me. Murdoch claims there's no viewers in UK so not worth doing.
Fox claim they dropped it.
21st century fox bids to buy sky but Murdoch family trust owns 21st century fox anyway.

I dislike the DM but think Virgin are wrong to censor it. It smacks of the current fad for limiting freedom of speech, having to live in a “safe space”, Facebook closed groups for clones and breeding a new “snowflake” generation of perpetual victims,

I agree with Nick, there has been many calls for us to drop certain newspapers because of their unethical adverts and the association with dodgy stuff.
However we haven't. It's up to our customers to decide.
I've always been told no-one in Liverpool will buy the sun however I've always been able to buy it there.

Virgins choice what they sell on their trains as it is the choice of any business what they sell. To a degree, although if there is a commercial demand for it from Virgin's passengers which Virgin refuse to satisfy because of the Daily Mail's highly critical stance towards the Government's bail out of the East Coast Main line (which is the real reason behind the decision), then this would smack of a commercial organisation attempting to stifle and suppress criticism of it, behaviour generally considered to be unethical.

Didn't Branson also sue the cash strapped NHS?...seems a bit odd he's taking the moral high ground ref the Mail

I suspect that passengers will make their views felt, they may even agree with the views
