I am going to sell one of my boats. Its a nice boat but a little bit the worse for wear on account of me having owned it.
Anyway I was planning to put it on the appalling duck webshite with a free advert but someone I talk to on phone sometimes (a friend type individual) said it might be worth doing a feature ad once I have removed all my shite from the vessel.
Are the paid adverts more effective or are they just for naturally boring boats/boats people want to sell asap ?

I dunno if it's changed but it used to be the case that with a free ad you could only have one photo (or was it three photos?) rather than unlimited photos which limited the appeal of the ad.

Yes I think it's one picture but I would assume anyone interested would send a message and request more photos and or information. I'm not sure how adding more photos and paying ££ would help. I'm sure it does but because I am stuck in my own little head I do not understand this.

Maybe post a few photos here and on CWDF and see if it sells by word of mouth? Depending on the value and how hassle-free a sale you want it might be worth putting on brokerage.

Those are good points. Once I have cleared it I will probably do the apoloduck thing but brokerage is quite an attractive option as you suggest.

I get annoyed when people only put one photo up of a boat, pay the cash and add more.

Apparently, it's in a warehouse in Ellon, Scotland. You can't view it but you're covered by PayPal's money-back guarantee.

It's not yours. Unless you've moved to chippenham.
Thought It was and got all excited. Then went back for another look. Bloke is far too good looking to be you 😁

They do. I liked the twat hat suggestion. It's probably a better option than my custom made baseball cap which has "I LIKE BOATS" printed across the front.
