Nothing quite like supporting Merkel and her Stasi-Commie-Fascist fantasies. Aldi is German, and our barge pole will not touch either that shop nor Lidl. Where are these fans made? China or "Product of EU"? Barge pole? BARGE POLE? Us proper boaters have a long shaft. Not a cheap Chinese barge pole.

And I would guess from your description that his pole is bamboo.

Ecofans don't work. andrew Au contraire mon ami. Mine is currently telling me that it is time to put some more coal in the stove, without me having to open the door to ascertain said fact. Therefore it is working.

The genuine eco fan was broke earlier in the winter. I noticed that the boat had cold spots, mainly at lower level. Once the poncy thing was fixed, I noticed the difference. They definitely work, and the Aldi one pumps air like a mad thing. Really impressed.

Have a 'proper'eco fan & bought an Aldi one last year. Both work well,Aldi one is well worth the money.Foxy,as a half Polish lady-if I boycotted German stuff,I'd have no car, washing machine, tumble drier & no shopping😕.Even our motor bike was German, but we got rid of it as it was sitting unused due to us being away on the boat so much.😊 I admit Made in Germany products have been good in the past (any still made there now?), I just don't like Lidl and Aldi having appeared on the streets of Britain, selling stuff 'Produced in the EU' whatever that means. Which country? Why can't we be told, why can't we choose? How about having British shops on the streets of Britain? How about things actually being made in Britain (yes, I know some are, we've had the list - someone makes umbrellas, I remember that). How about Poland getting its act together and producing something other than Sesame Snaps and jars of gherkins? Reckon many of us would love to buy loads of British made goods, wonder why we can't...Answers on a postcard please😄. P.S You forgot Polish sausage Foxy😮.
