U can share my Champagne...if u provide the Cake...... Ive had champagne n chips, champagne n tuna sandwiches, champagne n pizza....Im ever so refined...so Champagne and Cake sounds just about right.. How are you Mark?....do u need some Patty style care? (Ive laid out about 50 or so during my career)steady on... I'm not dead yet - I 'm investigating survival options at the moment... watch this space ;-) What do you mean survival options? I want the gift promised and clearly a wake is planned so have you and Andy left enough money for the bubbles and cake? The keys and the deeds to the boat should just about cover a good wake....................................

Looks like the wake might be at Pattys. More cake and champagne needed.

Well, all the sadness and despair, I only went to a meeting. Has the Ggingger one survived the night, did MJG, the nurse in that district, scuttle round to care for him with dignitas oops no that's so wrong and I can't do a line through on the phone, I meant dignity. Is someone preparing triangular cucumber sandwiches? I'll bring some of them. When can we root through his stuff?

Sorry to disappoint so many - the rumours of my death have been exaggerated thus far... I have made it through the night - only just mind. I actually feel worse than I did yesterday ... how long does this flu last ? ... this is day 3 and I hoped to be getting better.
Perhaps it's bubonic plague... I do have a couple of spots now too. My Titian locks seem somewhat faded (although that could be the carbolic)...
"infor me... they've all got it it infor me"...
To allay SOME concerns...
1) yes I DO have a co-op funeral plan to be vapouriesd... 2) Andy is sole executor - if he succumbs then it passes jointly to my oldest friend Helen and her Niece at Cambridge... 3) There's a whole folder of boaty receipts, instructions, order paperwork etc in my parents attic to act as deeds to the boat. 4) I'm not sure some of you lot will actually LIVE long enough to finish rummaging through my stuff - it's tucked all over the boat , some still in the garage at the bungalow and even some useful stuff in the attic (bungalows NOT boat).. 5) 6) I specifically requested no bun fight after my disposal ... and just leave my ashes at the crem 7 8) Time for a medicinal gin now 9) I do hope the Non-private BSS man who's coming tomorrow morning is gentle with me 10) FYI I'm usual up and around about 6 - 6.30 and Foxy is right... Patty tends to be first online "proper" although I never log out.
*coughs... flatulates and settles in front of the fire again*....

Some of us are on standby waiting for 5 and 7 on the above list.
Joking aside, it took two to three weeks before we felt totally fit again, and we still haven't got back running yet.
Take your time, this bug's not funny.

Pedant alert! It's "infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me"
And
"Doctor, will I be able to play the piano" is more effective, I try it on at every opportunity.
While visiting a sick mate, the nurse came to check him out, he was severely constipated. I asked her* if she was any good at sums, "No why", she replied,"well, you could always work it out with a pencil!"
*It really was a woman, not just sexist stereotyping.

I know, but it wouldn’t have fitted with Rog’s post.
