It's getting harder and harder to see the truth. The Sun front page says
"HOW DARE SHE
now I.S. bride says atrocity was justified. (Manchester bombings)
But what she actually said was.
Asked about the Manchester terror attack, she told the broadcaster in an interview aired today: "I do feel that it's wrong that innocent people did get killed.
"It's one thing to kill a soldier that is fighting you; it's self-defence, but to kill women and children..."
Begum said it was "just people like the women and children in Baghuz that are being killed right now unjustly, the bombings.
"It's a two-way thing really. Because women and children are being killed in Islamic State right now, and it's a kind of retaliation... their justification was it's retaliation so I thought 'OK, that is a fair justification."
I can kind of see the point she was making.
What she does say is she wants her first born boy to be a terrorist.

Its a war. There is an enemy. They may attempt to kill innocent people which is what UK and US and other forces are doing every day. We all have blood on our hands as UK citizens. We are a target.
It always seems more grim if its a suicide bombing killing a load of revellers but I suspect its pretty grim being systematically bombed by a foreign air force. even if you don't get dismembered or lose relatives the noise and destruction must be a real nuisance.
Its a nasty thing is war.
This is my favourite song about war

It's getting harder and harder to see the truth. The more layers information goes through, the less likely the truth can be found. Perhaps it’s better to base our opinions on the experiences we have with people we have met or know. It’s more likely to be trustworthy because of that body language thing again. I do wonder sometimes whether those who manipulate the media just want keep us busy with in fighting. It probably takes our focus off them.

Shamima Begum has said that despite the disgusting, squalid, stinking third world conditions, she still wants to return to Bethnal Green…

Good. There needs to be a deterrent that justifies the seriousness of the crime.

I'm in 2 minds about this.
Now she will likely become an ardent terrorist and do her level best to target the UK, using the government's actions as justification.
I would prefer her to return and be locked up for 20 years, with her child taken into care in an environment a million miles from his mother's background.

Yes with 31 million taxpayers that's about 3p each.
